The Village is governed by the Mayor, Deputy Mayor and the Board of Trustee’s. They hold a board meeting on the second Monday of the month at 7:00 PM and the public is encouraged to attend.
The day to day operations are the responsibility of the Clerk-treasurer and her deputy. Besides making sure that the Village runs smoothly, they offer a multiple array of services including making copies, faxing and notary services.
The Public Works department for the Village is responsible for all maintenance of Village properties, including the two parks. They are also responsible for snow removal, sidewalks, chipping limbs and water maintenance.
The Village is also home to a part-time Police Department. Their station is located at 1697 East Ave. Their phone number is 795-3207 for non-emergency matters. In a case of an emergency, please call 911.
