BARKER -- The Girls Modified Soccer team had a hard fought loss on Tuesday against Akron. Scoring for Barker was Aine Davis with two goals.
Modified Girls Soccer Blanks Albion
October 7, 2023
ATTICA -- On Saturday, the Girls Modified Soccer team defeated Albion 3-0. Scoring the first goal was Lila Belson. The second and third goals were scored by Aine Davis. This win was a complete team effort.
Offensively, Charlotte Haag, Ruthie Wrobel, Bri Mussell, and Jayde Moss all had many contributions. Our amazing captains, Davis, Robin Botsford, and Noralie Pierce held the team together.
The not to be forgotten defense of Fiona Wass, Areanna Reinard, Harmoni Carpenter, Josie Silversmith and our talented goalie slash defense Lucy Lunde did their part in our victory.
The team will play Thursday at Alexander, and then home on Tuesday, October 17th.

ATTICA -- Girls Modified Soccer suffered a loss on Monday at Pembroke. Aine Davis scored an amazing goal with help from Delaney Johnson.
The next game is on Thursday at 5:00 at Barker.
Modified Girls Soccer Finishes Season At Attica

ATTICA -- The Modified Girls Soccer team played Attica on Wednesday. It was a hard fought loss. Iliana Manning, Lexi Brazzell, Areanna Reinard, Cheyanne Rouse, Brionikah Mussell, Jayde Moss, and Eva Kelsey played defense for the team and did an amazing job.
The offense was Alina Riches, Cheyann Walker, Ava Crenshaw, Arnie Sturtevant, Lilly Reyes, and Villette Jary. They had many shots on goal and played a fantastic game.
Bella Gatto kept our spirits high and cheered on her team.
Sturtevant Nets 2 In Victory At Albion

ALBION -- On Friday the Girls Modified Soccer had an amazing 5-3 win over Albion. Arnie Sturtevant started and ended the goals scoring two. Cheyanne Rouse had a goal. Alina Riches had her first goal of the season, and Lilly Reyes had a goal as well. The ladies played a tough game with only breaks during quarters. The team will play their last game on Wednesday at Attica.

BARKER -- The Girls Modified Soccer team played a game Tuesday night against Byron Bergen. It was a hard fought game that ended in a loss. Cheyanne Walker scored Barkers only goal.
The team will travel to Alexander on Wednesday for another game.
Sturtevant Nets Lone Barker Goal

HOLLEY -- Saturday the Girls Modified Soccer team played at Holley. The team played hard in an 8-1 defeat. Arnie Sturtevant scored the goal in the second half of the game.
The team will next play Byron Bergen at home on Tuesday.
Walker, Wagner, And DeJesus Score Goals In Win

BARKER -- The Modified Soccer team played host to a strong Holley team Wednesday and earned their first victory of the season by a 3-2 score. Playing the whole game with no subs, the Raiders got on the board first with a goal by Cheyann Walker. Holley tied the score, but goals by Morgan Wagner and Jackie DeJesus put the Raiders ahead for good.
Alexis Dauphine was the winning goalie as she made some fine saves to keep the Raiders ahead. Gloria Holler, Sahara Holland and Chloe Crafts provided quality play to secure the win along with Cheyanne Rouse, Eva Kelsey, Villette Jary, and Ava Kelemen.
Veterans Lead Way For Modified Girls Soccer Team

PEMBROKE -- The Modified Girls Soccer team traveled to Pembroke Wednesday and played their best game of the season, falling to Pembroke by a two-goal margin. The team had outstanding play by veterans Jackie DeJesus, Sahara Holland, and Gloria Haller. Newcomers, Morgan Wagner, Cheyanne Rouse, Belle Gatto and Cheyann Walker contributed in the effort.
The next game is Wednesday, October 13th at home against Holley.
King & Haller Strong On Defense

BARKER -- The Modified Girls Soccer team hosted the Lyndonville Tigers on Monday. It was the second game for Barker. Makayla King and Gloria Holler played strong on defense making some nice plays to keep the Tigers out of the Raider goal. Alexis Dauphine and Bella Gatto split time as the Barker goalkeeper. Cheyanne Rouse saw her first action of the season and played well in the loss.
The next game is Monday, October 4th versus Albion.
Miller Nets First Of Season

AKRON -- The Modified Soccer team won their second game of the season with a 2-0 win over Akron. Madison Miller scored her first goal of the season in the first half as Barker jumped out to a 1-0 lead. In the second half, with the score tied, Michayla Green scored her third goal of the season to put the Raiders ahead for good.
Alexis Dauphinee made some spectacular save in goal to keep the Raiders in the game. Gloria Haller, Molly Westlake, Jackie DeJesus, Shelby Dauphine and Chloe Crafts contributed in the winning effort.
The Raiders are 2-2 on the season. The next game is Wednesday at Albion at 4:30 PM.
Greene Scores Twice At Medina

MEDINA -- The Modified Soccer team captured their first win of the season with a 3-0 win over the Medina Mustangs on Wednesday night. Michayla Greene scored the first goal of the season and the second goal of the game, as Barker jumped out to a 2-0 half time lead. In the second half, Lilly Dyet scored the third goal of the game to put the game out of reach.
Jackie DeJesus added two assists and Isabella Joy recorded one assist. Alexis Dauphinee earned her first career shut-out in the win. Cole Carnes, Shelby Dauphine, Holly Westlake, and Sahara Holland played solid defensively in securing the shut-out win.
The next game is Friday at Albion at 4:30 PM.

Sanders Nets Lone Goal For Modified Soccer

ALBION -- On Tuesday night, the Modified Girls Soccer team played a stellar game against a tough Albion squad. After double overtime, the game ended in a tie. During regulation time, the only goal was scored by Cloey Sanders after a great penalty kick attempt from Megan Fragale. Kate Babcock and Lilli Check shared the time in goal, both having incredible saves that kept Barker in the game. It was a great effort from every player on the team. The girls will host Akron at 4:45 on Thursday.
Check Stops Double Digit Shots Versus Medina

BARKER -- On Saturday, the Modified Girls Soccer team had a well matched game against the Medina Mustangs. Fighting hard all the way to the end, the girls ended up losing a close 1-0 game. All of the players showed great improvement and had their best game of the season.
Lilli Check had a outstanding day in the net for the Raiders with double digit saves and only allowing one goal. Cloey Sanders had her best game yet leading our offense. Megan Fragale, Trinity Parfinski, Lisbet Lopez, and Chloe Lee all had great games on offense as well while Liz Giarla, Kate Babcock, Allie Hotaling, and Emma Rose all worked well together on defense.
The girls will host Akron on Thursday at 4:45 for their last game of the season.
